With over 27 years of culinary expertise, I am renowned for crafting exquisite and
innovative dishes. From curating experiences for elite London and clientele, I have transitioned to a private freelance chef in luxurious communitiesin Dubai. As the trusted orchestrator of opulent gastronomic
experiences, I have showcased my skills on the cooking segment of the popular
MBC morning show (sabah il khair ya Arab) for three years. Later on, I founded the “Maha’s Kitchen Secrets ” blog, catering to diverse dietary needs with video tutorials and easy recipes to follow.
Fueled by an insatiable passion for Korean culinary traditions, I am unveiled the
Korean cloud kitchen “Kimchi Nom Nom. ” This venture promises an authentic and innovative culinary journey, catering to Dubai’s multicultural community while
staying true to the essence of Korean cuisine. The opening of this new venture is
not just a kitchen; it’s an invitation to savor the magic when experience and passion meet on the plate.
My culinary journey into the culinary world began early in life, growing up in a food- loving family. The smells of food and sounds of cooking shows filled our home.
Assisting my mom in the kitchen not only taught me basic cooking skills but laid the foundation for my passion. As an international student surviving in foreign countries, I struggled to find home-flavored food. However, a trip to Turkey led me to a small authentic Korean restaurant in Istanbul, reminiscent of my grandmother’s cooking. This encounter fueled a dream – to open a restaurant offering genuine, unaltered
flavors that evoke a sense of home.
During my time at the Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management in Dubai, surrounded by skilled international chefs, I was inspired to create dishes in my distinctive style. Now, teaming up with chef Maha Nakli, we aim to bring the authentic taste of Korea to Dubai Marina, creating a culinary haven for those
seeking genuine flavors.
